Sand sculptures are displayed at the Sand Sculpture Festival as it opens to the public on July 12 2008 in Weston Super Mare, England. Sand artists from across the globe have gathered at the festival to create themes, buildings and landmarks from 360 tonnes of sand representing the seven continents of the world.
